Master Jinheng Li began his martial arts training at age 11, he was selected to attend the prestigious Beijing Sports School. This is a "live-in" school where students focus not only on their academic subjects but they also train several hours daily, 6 days a week under the tutelage of the best martial arts masters in China. He specialized in many Chinese traditional weapons, as well as numerous hand forms such as Northern Shaolin long fist, Southern Style Boxing, Hung Gar, Nanquan, Baji, Bagua, Chen & Yang Styles Tai Chi, Xingyi, Tongbei, etc. He is internationally known for his skill with the Rope Dart.

Sifu Sean Squires began his martial arts training in 1995, in the Northern Shaolin System of Sifu Lai Hung, while attending college in Northern California. He then trained with various masters in Texas, studying Wushu and Taiji. He began training with Master Jinheng Li in 2001 and became a black belt instructor in 2002. In addition to teaching Taiji, Sean also teaches Master Li's Wushu Standard Course and the Family Wushu course at various locations. Sean's emphasis since 2003 has been on the internal arts of Taiji, Xingyi and Bagua. He has assisted in training tournament competitors from Master Li's school, and as part of the World Tai Chi instructors workshop, in these forms. In 2005 Sean was able to traveled to China with Master Li and trained in Taiji, Xingyi and Bagua with Coach Wang Deming, head of the Wushu program for the Chao Yang District Youth center, a 5th generation Bagua master and 6th generation Xingyi master. Sean is a World Tai Chi certified level 5 instructor and has successfully completed certification in Touch for Health. His other interests include Chinese Language and Calligraphy, Weiqi (called Go in Japan) and Lion Dance.
